Hear Me Out: My Story
Hypermasculinity in the Gay Subculture
In this episode, I talk about hypermasculinity, toxic masculinity, growing up in heteronormative homes, that masculine is good and anything less than is bad. How gay men function in society being someone else than who they are because of our culture saying masculine is good and anything else is bad. Living as two different presentations or what we think we should be is tiring and does no good.
